World Pole Dance was the very first global World Pole Dance Competition. As this sport gains in popularity, our role has grown from changing public perception of ‘Pole Dance’ to demonstrating an exciting form of fitness open to everyone through international showcase events.
World Pole Dance ensures fair and competitive sport competitions by offering a unified set of rules and raising standards of pole fitness, competitions and equipment. The safety of new and existing students looking to join classes and lessons as well as the world's top performers competing on a World stage is our responsibility to strive for safe standards.
World Pole Dance recognise and acknowledge that we hold the power to govern Pole Dance Sport Fitness as trustees only as the power to govern is fundamentally vested in the students and competitors. Our aim is to offer a single voice to other organisation to ensure their interests remain legitimate to promoting Pole Dance Fitness and these interest compliment and support other organisations around the World from using safe equipment to establishing solidarity and ensure any discrimination based on any grounds such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age, or sexual orientation is prohibited as discrimination has no place in sport.

A message from Alma Pirner Host of the 2011 World Pole Sport Championships in Hungary
Magyarországnak azért nagyon fontos, hogy részt vehet az idei Világbajnokság rendezésében, mert mint Közép-Európa „szíve”, kapu lehet a jövőben a Kelet-Európai országokhoz, akik bár jelenleg nem olyan fejlettek még, mint a nyugatiak vagy a tengerentúl, de rohamosan fejlődnek, és úgy gondolom, a jövőben ez is egy kiaknázatlan piaca lehet a rúdtáncnak, ami hatalmas! Az elmúlt 12 évben ugyanazt csinálom, a munkát soha nem munkaként fogtam fel, hanem teljes hittel és szeretettel végeztem a hivatásomat. |

Az üzletnél, partnereknél, projecteknél és innovatív újdonságoknál soha nem az anyagi javak motiválnak első sorban, hanem a presztízs, a siker, hogy megvalósíthassam álmaimat és elképzeléseimet.
Mindig olyan partnereket és együttműködőket kerestem, akik hasonlóan gondolkodnak, mert abból születhetnek nagy dolgok.
Nagyon szerencsés vagyok, mert a Dollhouse csapata teljesen elhivatott és elkötelezett, maximálisan lojális, és egy az álmunk, hogy a rúdtáncot minél több emberrel megismertessük, elfogadtassuk, megszerettessük országunkban, és a világon.
Én a rúdtáncot úgy definiálom, hogy elképzelek egy grafikont, melynek egyik oldalán az előadó művészet, másik oldalán a 100% fitness áll, és mindenki tudja magán definiálni, miért is csinálja, megtalálja benne Önmagát.
A jövőben szeretném, ha még élesebben megmutatkozna ez a 2 irányzat és pólus, a nőies önkifejezés és igényes szórakoztatás, illetve a tiszta és naturális erő, kitartás, sport és fitness.
Szeretnék egy olyan világszövetség tagja lenni, akiket hasonló érzések és gondolatok motiválnak, nyitottak és professzionálisak, legalább annyira hisznek a rúdtánc felemelkedésében és legalább olyan keményen dolgoznak ezen, mint mi Magyarországon.
Szeretném, ha egy egységként dolgoznánk, én nem „partnerek” lennénk. A csapatban hiszek, nem az individumban.
Személyes hitem pedig az, hogy szeretném segíteni, támogatni, felkarolni azokat a tehetségeket, akiknek nincs lehetőségük anyagi okokból versenyezni Kelet-Európában.

Vision
For Hungary-as the ’heart’ of Europe participating and organisating the World Championship is a very important issue. We can open a gate between Western and Eastern Europe, however East isn’t as developed as West and the transatlantic countries yet, but they are constantly growing and I reckon that this region can be a gold mine of pole dancing in the near future!
My way of „work”
For the past 12 years I have been doing the same. I have never looked at my proffession as a job I have always done it with full heart and with full of faith!
In a project and business or in an innovation always the prestige, the success and achieving my dreams and goals are motivating me,not the profit or money.
I have always looked for the partners who are thinking and acting the same , beacuse that’s when great things can happen.
My Team
I am grateful for Dollhouse, because their team is professional, loyal, with a unique commitment to this sport. To get more people familiar with poledancing, to assume it, and get more and more people to love doing it as much as we do, in our country and in the whole world, that is our common dream!
Poledancing from my sight
For me poledancing is like a diagram with two sides. On one side there is the performing of arts and on the other there is 100% fitness. Everybody can find him or herself on either side, expressing themselves. In the future I would like the two sides to seperate more. These two pole, the feminin self-expression and exigent amusement, and the pure and natural power, strength, sport and fitness.
Business and the World Pole Dance Sport Fitness
With the 2011 World Pole Dance Competition we would like to raise awareness for pole dancing and pole fitness as sports in Hungary. The prestige of Dollhouse as the Hungarian organizer of the event will hopefully increase.
In terms of business it would be nice to make financial profit with the event through sponsorships and ticket sales. We hope the event will attract more and more people to choose pole dancing and pole fitness as their hobby or even as professional sports activity and so increase the number of trainees in the Dollhouse Studios.
I would like to be the part of a World Organization, who thinks the same and has the same feelings about this sport.Who are as open minded, professional as we are. Who has the same thoughts, motivators and who has at least as much faith in it as we do here, in Hungary. I would love to work as a whole unite and not being partners. I believe in teamwork not in the individual.
My personal belief
My personal belief is, I would like to help, and donate those talents in Eastern Europe who can not have the possibilty to participate incompetitions because of their financial situation.
